Supporting Children Around the World

Families around the world have been deeply concerned and frightened for their children. Yes, "Today's children need help," ("From the Editor in Chief," Aug. 22) and now. They have been and currently are misused and abused. It's time to stop this barbaric violence against youth.

Thank you for the steps you are taking to write articles and editorials dealing with parenting, school safety, and overcoming abuse. We should all be in this together. Our children need us. This should be our No. 1 priority. Through our sincere prayers, we will be guided to take the action that will bring healing for all children. After all, they have the right to be cared for, happy, and safe.
