BUSINESS AID TO THE ARTS DECLINES
| NEW YORK
The level of support arts organizations received from business declined in 1991, according to a survey by the Business Committee for the Arts.
Fifty-seven percent of BCA members said they decreased their support to the arts from their 1990 level, 30 percent increased support, and 13 percent maintained their 1990 level. The survey also found that business support accounted for about 24 percent of most arts organizations' contributed income in 1990 and 1991.
