USSR lifts visa for tour of US by Soviet journalist

An 18-city US tour by Vladimir Pozner, Radio Moscow commentator and occasional guest on ABC-TV's ''Nightline,'' has been canceled because the Soviets have withdrawn his exit visa, officials connected with the trip say.

''We were notified by the lecture agency respresenting Mr. Pozner that Russian officials revoked his visa, which previously had been approved in Moscow and by our State Department,'' Richard W. Calkins, president of Grand Rapids Junior College, said Tuesday. Pozner was to deliver a lecture at the college next Tuesday.
