Four men sentenced in Massachusetts rape case
Four men were sentenced Monday to state prison terms of up to 12 years for raping a woman in a barroom in nearby New Bedford. Superior Court Judge William Young ordered Daniel Silva, John Cordeiro, and Victor Raposo to serve terms of 9 to 12 years in Walpole State Prison for raping the woman at Big Dan's Tavern, now closed. He imposed a term of 6 to 8 years for Joseph Vieira.
