Third fire at Boston hotel routs guests in snowstorm

A smoky two-alarm fire at the new 36-floor Westin Hotel sent five people to the hospital and about 460 hastily clad guests into a fierce snowstorm Tuesday night.

The fire, which erupted in an electrical vault in the posh hotel's lower garage, was the third at the multimillion-dollar complex since its January opening.
