Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

Correction
A Feb. 22 article on Arturo Cruz, a Nicaraguan opposition leader, stated that he was considered by some to be Nicaragua's likely next president if free and fair elections are held. It should have read that he is considered by many observers as likely to be the main opposition candidate for president.
