Soviet trade official expelled by Britain

Britain expelled a Soviet trade official suspected of spying, the sixth such expulsion in the past year. The Foreign Office said Thursday Vasily Ionov, a member of the Soviet trade delegation to Britain since April of 1981, had been given seven days to leave the country.
