Namibia drought relief sought by UN leader

UN Secretary General Javier Perez de Cuellar, shocked by the ravages of drought in Namibia (South-West Africa), discussed the possibilities for aid with Red Cross officials here Monday, United Nations sources said.

The relief agency, which has a representative in Namibia, was said to be eager to help.
