Texaco executive freed by Colombian guerrillas

A kidnapped American oil executive was freed by leftist guerrillas, who held him for 38 days. Kenneth Bishop, held under threat of execution, was reported in good condition after he was released here, police said. Texaco, Mr. Bishop's employer, reportedly paid a $1 million ransom.
