Extensive Afghan footage to be shown by CBS TV

The most extensive TV footage of the Soviet occupation of Kabul and military activities in Afghanistan will be featured in the second and third parts of a CBS News series.

They will air on ''CBS Evening News'' tonight and Thursday (April 6-7). According to Monitor TV critic Arthur Unger, CBS admits that free-lance photographer Erik Durschmied toured the country under the auspices of the current Afghan regime but still managed to take ''forbidden'' footage of Soviets and their equipment in ''secret'' installations.
