Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

Four union presidents told a panel looking into financing social security that union members would be cheated by the proposal, since their current retirement system was sound. But they found little comfort from panel members, who said they would not yield on the proposal.
