The perversion of sexual instinct is bad enough. The institutionalized pursuit and rationalization of such perversion is a subtler danger. Recently police in a Massachusetts town reportedly found a mass of evidence on an organization, complete with chapters in other places, that systematically panders to older men seeking to seduce young boys. It publishes supporting literature trying to justify the practice in intellectual terms. Already thousands of boys have been victimized. And this is not the only organization of its kind, say police.
Parents must take warning. So must a society in which such noxious growths can take root.
