No link seen in death of ex-CIA agent, arms case
Washington — The former CIA agent who told the government that former agent Edwin Wilson was aiding Libyan terrorists was found dead in rural Virginia, the second potential witness to be lost to the Wilson trial, authorities say.
Kevin Mulcahy's father and police discounted any connection between Mr. Mulcahy and the Wilson case, police saying that upon discovery of the body they saw nothing to suggest an unnatural death. The FBI has taken over the investigation.
Rafael Villaverde was also expected to testify, but he disappeared from a boat accident near the Bahamas seven months ago.
