Newly outlawed terrorists bomb newspaper in Paris
Paris — Less than 24 hours after President Mitterrand outlawed it, the underground left-wing group Action Directe claimed responsibility for an explosion in central Paris Thursday, police reported.
The blast destroyed the offices of the right-wing newspaper Minute. No one was injured by the bomb, placed in retaliation for the tabloid's pro-Israeli stance. It was the 18th terrorist attack here since July 20.
