India, Pakistan to resume talks on a peace accord
Islamabad, Pakistan — India and Pakistan reached an agreement to resume negotiations on a nonaggression pact. An Indian Foreign Ministry official said future talks would cover all bilateral issues.
The official said a date had not been fixed for the resumption of talks that broke down three months ago. The dispute concerns Pakistani concern over India's arms purchases from the Soviet Union and New Delhi's criticism of renewed US arms supplies to Pakistan.
