New Trustee of Publishing Society

Beulah M. Roegge, an associate editor of the religious periodicals of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston, has been named a Trustee of The Christian Science Publishing Society.

The appointment, effective May 1, was announced by The Christian Science Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees.

The denomination's publications include The Christian Science Monitor plus weekly, monthly, and quarterly religious magazines.

Mrs. Roegge succeeds Michael A. West, who has had a dual assignment as Trustee and Church Treasurer. Mr. West will now devote full time to the Treasurer's office.

The new Trustee has been in the public healing practice of Christian Science since 1962. In 1976 she became a teacher of Christian Science and, in 1979, a Christian Science lecturer. Earlier she worked in broadcasting in Chicago.

Mrs. Roegge is a native of Indiana but was a longtime Chicagoan prior to coming to Boston in 1980. She will be succeeded in the periodicals editing post June 1 by Mrs. Carolyn B. Swan of Oklahoma City, Okla., also a practitioner and teacher of Christian Science.
