British sub hooks Irish trawler, capsizing it

Britain admitted one of its submarines accidentally sank an Irish trawler off Dublin two weeks ago, the Irish Government said. The submarine did not resurface, and Irish Prime Minister Charles Haughey ordered an inquiry into the incident, but a government statement said Britain had now accepted responsibility and would pay for damages.
