Rightists shell Lebanese town after cease-fire

South Lebanon's Israeli-backed rightist militias have shelled the coastal town of Tyre for the first time since the July 24 Palestinian-Israeli cease-fire , guerrilla spokesmen said Monday. They said three shells crashed on Tyre's outskirts Sunday night, causing no casualties. Other details were not immediately available.

The July 24 cease-fire ended 15 days of cross-frontier fighting between Israel and south Lebanon's Palestinian guerrillas, which inflicted hundreds of casualties, almost all on Palestinians and Lebanese.
