Moscow orders farm drive to bolster lagging crops

Because of another poor harvest, the Soviet government has called for a major agricultural effort this spring. A decree issued by the Communist Party Central Committee gives a special credit dispensation for farm building and the loan of industry drivers for tractor work. The decree reflects the Kremlin's attempts after two poor harvest to ensure a strong return from the winter sowing and a good start to the summ er crop.
