Committee to seek inter-Arab conciliation

An Arab reconciliation committee composed of Saudi Arabia, Algeria, and the Arab League will soon begin a mission to try to improve troubled inter-Arab relations. Arab League Secretary-General Chedli Klibi has said that agreement to form the committee was reached during his recent tour of several Arab countries, including Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. Mr. Klibi will meet with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal and Algerian Foreign Minister Muhammad Siddik Benyehia to draw up their projected travel plans to Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and other countries.
