Foes of hostage windup block Iranian meeting
Tehran — Iranian legislators opposed to a quick solution of the crisis over the American hostages staged a boycott that blocked a key parliamentary meeting intended to set terms for release of the 52 captives. The open session broke up in confusion, with deputies in attendance angrily criticizing those who failed to show up. Deputies had expected to establish definite terms during the session for the freeing of the hostages. The debate was rescheduled for Sunday.
