UN gives Israel a date for Arab lands pullout

The UN General Assembly called on Israel Tuesday to begin its unconditional withdrawal from all Arab territories occupied since the 1967 war, "including Jerusalem," by Nov. 15.The resolution, approved 112 to 7 with 24 abstentions, reaffirmed the rights of Palestinian self-determination and statehood. The United States, Canada, Norway, and Australia were among those that voted against it.
