Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

In Thursday's twin stories on the Western alliance, the captions for two photographs on Page 12 were switched. Italy's Prime Minister Francesco Cossiga was mistakenly identified as Denmark's Anker Jorgensen, and vice versa. The Monitor regrets the error.
