Energy stocks

I am holding stocks in several utilities, and I'm questioning the wisdom of being so heavily invested in energy stocks. I am 80 and cnanot afford any losses. What are the prospects for energy stocks? F. H.

The stocks you hold are primarily utility income stocks. Since you purchased them, their prices have declined but the dividends have increased somewhat. At their present prices I suggest not selling, as you would be taking a loss. Also , the term "energy stocks" is usually applied to oil companies and other producers of energy materials rather than to utility company stocks. The stocks you hold fall into the group of utility income stocks.
