Tanzania troops in Uganda ordered to protect Binaisa

TAnzanian President Julius Nyerere has given orders for his 10,000 troops in Uganda to protect President Godfrey Binaisa if Ugandan military leaders try to arrest him, Tanzanian sources said Thursday. Some members of Uganda's military commission, which claims to have seized power from Mr. Binaisa, have threatened to put the President on trial for corruption. Mr. Binaisa ramains in a state house at Entebbe, 21 miles from Kampala, where he is guarded by Tanzanian soldiers.
