Anderson sights win in Illinois primary

John Anderson said on ABC-TV's "Issues and Answers' Sunday that he expected to win the Illinois primary March 18 and that afterward he would phone his "good friend Jerry Ford and ask him for his endorsemenet."

Also, under repeated questioning Mr. Anderson refused to say whether he would support Ronald Reagan if Mr. Reagan ended up as the GOP presidential nominee. "It depends on developmnts in the campaign," he said, "the kind of platform he might support." Representative Anderson is particularly critical of Mr. Reagan's opposition to SALT II.
