`GUYS AND DOLLS' ROAD SHOW

The wildly successful, Tony Award-winning revival of "Guys and Dolls" on Broadway has spawned a touring company, to be led by singer-actress Lorna Luft as Miss Adelaide.

The 1950 Frank Loesser musical is based on a Damon Runyon short story, "The Idyll of Miss Sarah Brown," about streetwise gamblers, Hot Box dancers, and noble soul-savers in Times Square. The current production is directed by Jerry Zaks.

Starring with Ms. Luft are Lewis Stadlen as Nathan Detroit, Richard Muenz as Sky Masterson, and Patricia Ben Peterson as Sarah Brown.

The itinerary includes: Hartford, Conn.; Cleveland; San Francisco; Hershey, Pa.; Rochester, N.Y.; Boston; Louisville, Ky.; New Haven, Conn.; Washington; Detroit; Cincinnati; Toronto; Charlotte, N.C.; Atlanta; St. Paul, Minn.; New Orleans; Houston; Dallas; Columbus, Ohio; San Antonio; Schenectady, N.Y.; and Tempe, Ariz. No dates have been announced.
