Good Morning Vietnam (NBC, 9-11:30 p.m.): Robin Williams is at his incisively comic best as a maverick Army disc jockey in the network premi`ere of this 1987 film. Once the manic deejay is sent to Vietnam to boost troop morale, Armed Forces radio is never the same.

MONDAY

Willow (Fox, 8-11 p.m.): A small and rather unlikely hero teams with a warrior to free his land of a wicked queen in George Lucas's 1988 action-fantasy film. It's told in the familiar myth-based style of Lucas's `Star Wars' trilogy, with dazzling special effects and welcome humor that has special appeal for kids - though it's harrowing at times.

Dangerous Assignments (PBS, 9-10 p.m.): 1990 was not exactly a confidence-builder for journalists around the world. Twenty-three of them were killed as they dug for facts. In this documentary - taped before the Persian war began - CBS's Dan Rather, ABC's Peter Jennings, and NBC's Tom Brokaw each report about print journalists who were killed or threatened doing their jobs. Then the three anchors are joined by PBS's Robin MacNeil and CNN's Bernard Shaw for a roundtable talk.

Long Road Home (NBC, 9-11 p.m.): In this Depression-era drama based on Ronald B. Taylor's book, migrant-farm worker Ertie and his family get a nickel a box for what they pick, their co-workers live in tents or hovels, and there's no union. But there is family trouble. So Ertie (Mark Harmon) faces stark questions of right, wrong - and violence.
