New Cabinet in Italy is center-left coalition

Prime Minister-designate Amintore Fanfani formed Italy's 43rd postwar government Tuesday, a four-party center-left coalition that reclaimed the premiership for the dominant Christian Democrats after 17 months.

Senate President Fanfani was expected to present his list of Cabinet ministers to President Sandro Pertini Wednesday.
