Iranians say Iraqi toll sizable in raid at front

Iranian Revolutionary Guards said they had knocked out 30 tanks and killed 100 Iraqis in a major raid on Iraqi lines west of this devastated town on the Gulf war front. They said the most advanced Iraqi positions were only about one mile from the center of Susangerd.

The Revolutionary Guards lost 13 men in the 48-hour operation, which was supported by artillery from regular army units outside Susangerd.
