Election official is named Reagan's link to the Hill

President-elect Ronald Reagan named Max Friedersdorf, chairman of the Federal Election Commission, as his assistant for legislative affairs when his administration takes office. Mr. Friedersdorf will be responsible for White House liaison with Congress and helping to round up votes for Mr. Reagan's legislative program. Mr. Friedersdorf served as staff director for the Senate Republican Policy Committee and as a member of the congressional liaison teams of Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford.
