Leftists in Guatemala attack military outpost

Leftist guerrillas attacked a military outpost Tuesday in the rugged Quiche region in northern Guatemala, killing 21 people, according to an Army spokesman. The guerrillas are fighting to overthrow Guatemala's military-led government.

Meanwhile, a tanker with 120,000 barrels of crude oil left Guatemala for Louisiana Tuesday. It is the second shipment of Guatemalan oil to the United States.
