Whether you are stressed about taxes or excited to be celebrating spring, Ben & Jerry’s thinks you deserve a scoop of ice cream, free ice cream.

The famed hippie ice cream makers Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield are hosting their 36th annual Free Cone Day on April 14. From noon until 8 p.m. in all participating stores around the world, customers can pick up a small cone on the house.

“It’s our way to celebrate and say thanks for another year of support, and we’ve kept it up every year since, spreading the peace, love, and ice cream around the globe,” according to Ben & Jerry’s website.

Ben & Jerry’s is also pitching the event as a chance to support causes the socially active company fights for, such as LGBT rights, combatting climate change, and fair trade sourcing. Ben & Jerry's also brings its activism to its business practices, offering fair wage policies, extensive employee benefits, putting the unemployed to work, and even treating its cows well.

The company says it anticipates giving away up to 1 million free scoops of ice cream worldwide and is encouraging customers to share pictures of their cones on Instagram and tag them with #FreeConeDay.

Customers can choose any flavor they like, including specialty flavors like The Tonight Dough, introduced to celebrate Jimmy Fallon taking over “The Tonight Show.” You can vote for the flavor you’ll be enjoying in an online poll. So far, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is winning, with Cherry Garcia and Chocolate Fudge Brownie close behind. If you need help choosing, Jishai Evers, an illustrator and CEO of the data visualization company Dadaviz, created an infographic of the various flavor options.

The only thing better than free ice cream is unlimited free ice cream, and TIME points out that the standard “limit one per customer” deal typically applied to free giveaways is not applicable this time. Ben & Jerry’s encourages customers to get back in line and eat as many scoops as they are willing to wait for and their stomachs can handle.

“You get to get ice cream, and then get to get back in line and get more ice cream,” says one customer in a promotional video  Ben & Jerry’s posted last month. Others in the video bragged about having waited in line as many as seven times.

For those who do choose to go back for second or third helpings, Ben & Jerry’s has created a list of suggestions for what to do while waiting in line, including starting a sing-a-long, calling home, doing jumping jacks, or getting to know your fellow linemates.
