A new trailer for the movie version of Gillian Flynn’s bestseller “Gone Girl” has been released.

The film stars Ben Affleck as Nick Dunne, whose wife Amy (Rosamund Pike) disappears. He is soon suspected to have had a hand in her vanishing.

“I had nothing to do with the disappearance of my wife,” Nick tells a crowd of searchers. “I have nothing to hide.”

The trailer shows the investigation into Amy’s disappearance and includes voiceover from a diary kept by Amy.

“I feel like I could disappear,” the diary reads. “I am frightened of my own husband.”
