US Open 2015 TV schedule: Who to watch in Friday's second round

Some big names had a tough first day at the US Open golf championship on Thursday. What will Day 2 bring?

The second round of the 115th United States Open golf championship at Chambers Bay in University Place, Washington tees off Friday morning with just 25 out of 156 golfers under par after the first 18 holes played.

Dustin Johnson of the United States and Sweden's Henrik Stenson are tied for the lead at five under par. Johnson, who's been in contention in major championships before, will tee off on the first hole at 5:17 p.m. Eastern time Friday afternoon. Johnson is paired with Spain's Sergio Garcia and Adam Scott of Australia, both of whom shot even par 70 in Thursday's first round.

At the very same time as Johnson's group, Stenson will start Friday's round on the tenth hole. He's playing with Francesco Molinari of Italy and Brandt Snedeker of the US. Molinari shot a two under par 68 Thursday while Snedeker is at one under par.

All alone in third place at four under par is Patrick Reed of the US. He's paired with Welshman Jamie Donaldson, who shot a four over 74 Thursday, and American Chris Kirk, who's at even par. This threesome will tee off at 5:39 p.m. Eastern time Friday.

There's a three-way tie for fourth place that includes Matt Kuchar, Ben Martin, and amateur player Brian Campbell, all from the United States. This trio all shot three under 67s on Thursday. 

Kuchar is playing with 2010 US Open champion Graeme McDowell of Northern Ireland, who shot a four over 74 Thursday, and Japan's Hideki Matsuyama, who's at even par after one round. This threesome will tee off at 5:06 p.m. Eastern time Friday.

Martin is paired with Scotland's Stephen Gallacher and Shane Lowry of Ireland, who's at one under par. They will start play at 11:39 a.m. Eastern time Friday.

Campbell just finished his senior season at the University of Illinois, helping the Illini reach the NCAA tournament. His threesome will tee off at 12:01 p.m. Eastern Friday.

Masters champion Jordan Spieth and playing companion Jason Day are both two under par after the first round. They, along with Justin Rose, will tee off at 11:17 a.m. Eastern time.

Other notables include Phil Mickelson, who shot a one under 69 Thursday. He, Bubba Watson, and Angel Cabrera, who both are at even par, tee off at 4:33 p.m. Eastern on Friday.

Rory McIlroy, who's at two over par, will start his second round at 5:28 p.m. Eastern time. Tiger Woods and Rickie Fowler, who shot a ten over par 80  and eleven over 81 in the first round respectively, hit the course at 11:28 a.m. Eastern.

There are three places you can watch the US Open on Friday. Beginning approximately at 10 a.m. Eastern time Friday, USGA.com will have live streaming of the golf tournament. The Fox mobile app, FoxSportsGo.com, will live stream action from the 12th and 15th holes, plus other action, beginning at 1 p.m. Eastern. Fox Sports 1 will begin their live television coverage at noon Eastern. Then, at 8 p.m. Eastern, Fox will pick up the primetime coverage Friday night.
