Big news for fans of Starwood hotels and users of Uber: You can now earn up to 4 Starwood points per dollar spent with Uber! Here's how:

First, you must connect your Uber and Starwood accounts here. Just so you know, your email and last name must match on both accounts!

Next, to begin earning, you must stay on a paid rate at any Starwood hotel worldwide. This means no award stays and no stays or nights given to you as a benefit to having the Starwood Preferred Guest Amex.

After you meet those requirements, all you have to do is Uber! You'll earn 1 Starpoint per dollar regularly, and then 2 points per dollar when you're staying at a Starwood hotel (3 for Gold and Platinum members, 4 for Platinums who stay 75 nights or more each year).

The better news is that this is stackable with previous promotions with Amex (and Chase Ultimate Rewards' categories). Link any Membership Rewards earning Amex card, and you'll earn 2 points per dollar spent. And, if you have a Chase Ultimate Rewards card that earns double points on travel (like the Chase Sapphire Preferred card), you'll earn 2 Ultimate Rewards points per dollar spent!

All in all, this is a big win for travelers loyal to Starwood.
