Dozens of firefighters are battling a multialarm fire at a southern New Jersey food warehouse.

No injuries have been reported in the blaze at the Dietz and Watson distribution plant in Delanco. But the fire has seriously damaged the massive building in Burlington County.

Authorities say the fire broke out around 1:45 p.m. Sunday, sending plumes of thick, black smoke billowing from the structure. It appears that the blaze started on the roof and quickly spread as the fire became more intense.

Officials say firefighters were hampered by water supply problems, and crews were ready to use the Rancocas Creek as a resource.

The only people on the company's campus were two security guards who manned a station outside the building.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
