Horse in McDonald's: A woman on horseback who attempted to order from McDonald's drive-thru window subsequently went inside with her horse, which proceeded to register its displeasure on the fast-food restaurant's floor.

A UK woman was denied service at a McDonalds drive-thu in Greater Manchester because, well, she was on a horse. She was accompanied by a girl riding a pony. She then rode her horse into the restaurant where her horse expressed its feelings about the rejection, in the form of a brown lump deposited on the floor.
Police issued the woman a fine, a spokesperson for McDonalds said.
“We can confirm that on 20th July a woman allowed her pony to enter our restaurant in Whitefield after being refused service in the drive-thru lane,” the spokesperson said. “The incident caused distress to customers and disruption for the restaurant and the police issued the woman with a Fixed Penalty notice.”
McDonalds doesn't single out equestrians. The company also bans bicyclists and pedestrians from cruising through the drive-thru.
“The health safety of our customers and staff is our top priority and for this reason we are unable to serve pedestrians, bicycle riders or customers on horseback through the drive-thru,” the spokesperson said.
