'Serena': A trailer for the star-studded movie adaptation has arrived

A trailer has arrived for the movie adaptation of Ron Rash’s novel “Serena.”

“Serena" was first released in 2008 is set in 1929 and tells the story of married couple George (Bradley Cooper) and Serena (Jennifer Lawrence) Pemberton, who attempt to create a timber business in North Carolina. However, the couple’s relationship hits a snag when Serena learns that George previously fathered a child with a woman named Rachel Harmon (Ana Ularu).

The movie co-stars Rhys Ifans of “Elementary” and “The Girl” actor Toby Jones.

Cooper and Lawrence previously starred together in the 2012 movie “Silver Linings Playbook” and the 2013 film “American Hustle.” Both were nominated for Oscars for both movies. 

“Serena” will be released in the UK on Oct. 24 but does not yet have a US release date.
