A new trailer for the film adaptation of John Green’s bestselling young adult novel “The Fault in Our Stars” shows more of the upcoming film.

Protagonist Hazel (Shailene Woodley), who has been diagnosed with cancer, describes her life at the beginning of the clip: “Doctor’s appointments, reality shows – worst of all, support groups.”

Actor Mike Birbiglia, who portrays support group leader Patrick, plays a song on his guitar before asking Hazel solicitously, “Hazel, how are you doing?”

“You mean besides the cancer? All right, I guess,” she replies.

The clip also shows more interaction between Hazel and Gus, a boy who she meets at the support group. They are chatting and getting along until she’s aghast when he takes out a cigarette.

“You just ruined this whole thing!” she says. “You were doing really well, too.”

“Fault” opens on June 6.
