Buick is stepping up to the advertising plate. The automaker will unveil its first-ever Super Bowl spot during this year's game, scheduled for February 7 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The plan is to bring Buick's "Experience the new Buick" tagline to the masses, and the Super Bowl is always a great place to show off your brand to many millions of people.

Actress Emily Ratajkowski and New York Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. have been tapped for the spot. It will feature the 2016 Buick Cascada convertible, with Buick casting Ratajkowski to show off the brand's stylish side and adventurous spirit while Beckham Jr. will be there to show a commitment to excellence.

Regardless, we're happy to see the Buick brand stepping up to show off its new models. The big stage of the Super Bowl could help change a few opinions on a brand that's perennially been viewed as one for older folks. The Cascada is just one of three new vehicles from Buick this year, so this ad could be the kick-off celebration that sets sales, at least here in the United States, in the right direction.
