A new trailer has been released for the animated adaptation of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s book “The Little Prince.”

Saint-Exupéry’s title tells the story of an aviator who becomes stranded in the Sahara desert. While there, he meets a prince who says he comes from an asteroid and teaches the aviator about life.

The upcoming film adds a framing device of a little girl (voiced by Mackenzie Foy) who is encouraged to work hard and become a successful adult by her mother (Rachel McAdams) but who becomes fascinated with the stories of the aviator (Jeff Bridges), who lives near her.

The voice cast also includes actor James Franco as the fox, Marion Cotillard as the rose, and Benicio del Toro as the snake.

The film will play at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, which is being held this May.
