The book “It’s What I Do” by Lynsey Addario is reportedly being adapted as a film, with Steven Spielberg directing and “Serena” actress Jennifer Lawrence starring in the movie.

According to Deadline, both Spielberg and Lawrence are on board to work on the film. Spielberg recently directed the 2012 film “Lincoln” and 2011’s “War Horse,” while Lawrence appeared in the 2014 films “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1” and “X-Men: Days of Future Past.”

“Do,” which is Addario’s memoir of her time as a war photographer in areas such as Afghanistan, Iraq, and the Congo, was just published this past February. Both the Monitor and Amazon named it as one of the best books released that month, though Monitor writer Nick Romeo found that sometimes the book included a “tendency to aestheticize imagery of enormous suffering” and “frequent name-dropping of prizes and publications."
