Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell is well worth the time it takes to read it. A contemporary coming-of-age story, it covers Cath's freshman year at the University of Nebraska. Complex and endearing characters encounter life with all its difficulties, joy, routine drudgery, and moments of sheer bliss. The audiobook is also a treat.
