Flood of Lies by lawyer and author Jim Cobb tells the true story of defending the elderly couple charged with murder in the drowning deaths of 35 nursing home residents who were sheltering-in-place when the levees broke after Hurricane Katrina.  Being from New Orleans, and specifically being from a neighborhood that flooded after Katrina, I have accumulated a collection of hurricane stories. "Flood of Lies" is going to the top of that stack.  Not only does it tell of the uncertainty of those times, but it is also a legal thriller with humor and political insights.
