I thoroughly enjoyed Elizabeth Morse's novel White Dog Fell from the Sky, published this year. It is set in 1976, and the story starts as a young South African man crosses the border into Botswana, hidden under a casket. There are different kinds of love, much compassion, adventure, and a loyal dog. I turned the final pages slowly, sorry to see the story come to a close.
