www.lowcards.com

WHAT: A good place to look if you are shopping for a new credit card with low interest rates and no fees.

BEST POINTS: Lowcards is to the point, listing the Top 10 or so credit-card deals on its home page. The No. 1 card: A Capital One Platinum Visa with a 0 percent introductory rate through August, a 9.9 percent fixed rate thereafter, and no annual fees. The site also contains lists of the best rebate and airline-rewards cards and links to other sites where you can apply online. Lowcards says it contains "the best cards for people who have a good credit history, never carry a balance from month to month, and want to earn cash rebate rewards on their purchases."

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: While the site is good for quick searches, consider bankrate.com for more comprehensive information and breakdowns of credit-card offers. Lowcards.com is run by www.saveonphone.com, a site that has helped more than 500,000 consumers compare long-distance rates since it began in April 1999. The site lists what it considers to be the Top 10 long-distance calling plans in the US.
