Deciphering chocolate hieroglyphics
February 16, 2000
Forrest Gump may have charmed Americans by saying, "Life is like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're going to get," but many people want to know what's inside their chocolates.
If you received a box of chocolates for Valentines Day, these clues may help you know what's inside:
*A round chocolate with a circle on top probably has orange filling, an "R" usually has raspberry, and a loop down the side is usually lemon. A "B" is probably buttercream; "V" is usually vanilla.
*A straight line is a little more confusing. On a round chocolate, it's almost always peppermint, but on a square, it's usually caramel.
