How to kick procrastination

January 4, 1999

1. tie the task to something you value.

2. Set a deadline.

3. Set a reward for yourself.

4. Promise someone else you will finish the task. (No one likes to fail in front of other people.)

5. Break up the task into smaller parts.

6. Ask for help.

7. Schedule an appointment with yourself to do the job.

8. Set a minimum daily goal.

9. Pay someone else to do it.
