Poem for the Planet

November 4, 1996

I dream of a home that would hold us all,

each of us in his own room,

though we share the kitchen,

and a large living room.

There are our children, our parents,

our husbands and wives.

We're working on the human bond,

the glue that binds us all,

that makes us one.

I dream of us living together.

All of us under one roof.

One.
